Richard Moon
Richard has a wealth of experience in the electronics industry with an extensive track record in Defence, Communications, Transportation, Information Technology and Telecom’s where he has served as Managing Director, Chief Executive and Chairman. His career has embraced major blue chip company’s including Thorn EMI, Racal Electronics and Thales UK Plc, where he was Chief Executive and member of Thales SA’s Executive Board in Paris.
He has been a member of the National Defence Industry Council and Vice President of the FEI. In recent years he has become a plural Chairman of public and private companies based in the UK, Europe and USA.
In addition to KeTech, Richard is currently Chairman of Synergie Global Ltd. His past Directorships & Chairmanships include Advetec Holdings, PixelPin, Seven Technologies, Acal Plc (now discoverIE), Netia SA, IFCO Systems NV, Planit Holdings Ltd and OBS Medical Ltd. He is a Freeman of the City of London, Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts & Manufacturers, Member of the Institute of Directors, Lay member of the Church of England’s General Synod (2005/10) and Chairman of EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year judging panel for London & South (2012-14).
Richard enjoys playing golf and snooker, watching his grandchildren participate in sport & supporting his local soccer & rugby teams.
Responsibilities
As Board Chairman of KeTech, Richard is responsible for leading the Board and focusing it on strategic matters, overseeing KeTech’s business and setting high governance standards.
Richard has been a member of the National Defence Industry Council and Vice President of the FEI. In recent years he has become a plural Chairman of public and private companies based in the UK, Europe, and USA.
