Further Successful Trade Shows

KeTech has yet again had another successful month with three industry shows; Counter Terror Expo, Railtex and the AOA conference.
The Counter Terror Expo, Is one of the most attended events in the security calendar. This year KeTech had a successful show and revealed a number of new products in the KeScope range. Having these new Thermal Imaging Cameras on the stand, allowed our visitors to have a hands on demo, and to experience the unique concepts of the cameras.
Earls Court was the venue for Railtex, the 11th International Exhibition of Railway Equipment, systems & services. Another productive show that saw KeTech present our latest KeInform +, and KeInform1000, Integrated PA, CIS for both platforms and on board real time information to Passengers.
The Annual AOA conference which is widely recognised as a ‘must-attend’ event in the aviation calendar, allowed KeTech a platform to demonstrate KeScan an endorsed Type B liquid and gel scanner allowing users to analyse multiple containers in a single cycle.
The Shows created an ideal platform for KeTech to show that innovation is at the core of our strategy. With a record breaking number of visitors stopping at the KeTech stand in all three exhibitions, KeTech looks forward to working with those who expressed and interest in our range of products and repeating this success next year.

KeTech Implements First Networked CIS Darwin Interface
KeTech has successfully completed the Phase 1 implementation of Darwin to provide a fully functional interface between the KeTech Customer Information System and the National Rail Enquiries (NRE) real time system.
‘Darwin’ is the source of information that feeds all of the NRE real time services (Live Departure Boards, SMS alerts, Journey Planner, etc.) providing predictions and actual train movements across the National Rail network in real time.
Darwin takes the scheduled timetable information and enriches it with real time train movement information from across the network. It also receives messages about cancellations and alterations that are sent from Train Company control offices.
KeTech’s Darwin implementation provides Chiltern Railways with audio visual announcements that are fully coordinated with NRE information – thus passengers are kept consistently and accurately informed about their train travel at all stages of their journey including, for the first time, via the web, on mobile devices as well as at the station.
KeTech’s early collaboration with ATOC supported the Darwin project development and enabled both ATOC and Chiltern Railways to implement a fully networked and integrated system. Achieving this so early in the Darwin development paves the way to rolling out the extended functionality of Darwin in the future.
This is an exciting development in the provision of enhanced CIS in the UK and KeTech is pleased to be at the forefront of the process
