SCADA Systems
One of the problems facing current Control Room Operators is the quantity and variety of intelligent systems that they have to interface with. This can lead to information overload, presenting the serious risk that some of the systems can be set to incompatible states. In some circumstances this simply causes process inefficiencies, whilst in others the effects can be catastrophic.
Multiple Intelligent System Controller and Interface (MISCI) has been designed by KeTech Systems to alert the Operator to the risk and/or prevent these dangerous conditions being set. It provides the Operator with a single interface for a number of different systems, thereby reducing workload.
MISCI accesses the different sub-systems providing centralised fault monitoring and reporting function. Predefined rules sort and categorise the faults and trigger the appropriate reaction.

MISCI has been designed using commercially available software and can provide direct links for relevant information to web browsers, SMS hosts etc. The system can be configured for remote access, allowing Operators at different locations to provide disaster recovery facilities.
