Working Philosophy 

In order to maintain good team spirit and avoid confrontation and adversarial relationships, KeTech prefers a “Single Team” approach to facilitate effective and efficient communications between all stakeholders involved within a project.

KeTech has had practical experience of different management styles when it comes to running a large project and we feel that the most successful has been the seamless culture of a “Single Team” approach.  This involves the customer, contractor, subcontractor and suppliers working closely together to jointly resolve difficulties.  Although the seamless culture does not release any contractual obligations of each party, this arrangement facilitates decisions being made and issues being resolved at the appropriate working level, rather than going through the hierarchy of the relevant organisations.

The following initial ideas are based upon our experience and are intended to form the basis of further discussion so that the partnering approach can be developed interactively and agreed between all parties for each specific project.

All parties should:

  • Adopt and promote honesty and trust at all times
  • Ensure appropriate resources are dedicated to the team and that the right people get the right information at the right time
  • Recognise achievement and value contributions
  • Encourage and facilitate two-way communication which is clearly defined and utilised by all parties.
  • Adopt an open and responsive management style which includes a 'no blame' culture
  • Encourage learning from experience
  • Provide appropriate training and coaching
  • Share common goals and shared objectives, which are achievable and measurable.
