The KeTech Group
KeTech was founded in 1998 by the present shareholders to provide communication systems consultancy, design, engineering, software development and maintenance services to the transport sector.
In recent years KeTech has adopted an aggressive growth pattern through acquisitions. In April 2004 it acquired the Jasmin Group of companies which had been established in 1969 and had a strong electronics and engineering focus, particularly in the areas of transport and defence – leading to the creation of KeTech Systems, KeTech Defence and KeTech Detection.
In 2005 Metro & Tube Services (MATS) was setup as a result of KeTech Systems being unable to source reliable, good quality installation and commissioning staff for London Underground projects. MATS targets primarily the London Underground, with its exacting requirements for safety, quality and extraordinary working practices, but also provides many installation and maintenance services to other market sectors.
In October 2006, KeTech acquired Ditra Systems, a specialist in the design and manufacture of voice based public address information systems for the transport and rail industry and for safety application in public and commercial buildings.
2As’, a building management systems and controls expert, joined the KeTech Group in July 2007 and offers a full range of control services associated with mechanical heating, ventilation and air conditioning and process/energy management installations.
Our latest acquisition in February 2008 was Key Radio Systems who deliver a wide range of custom designed wireless radio communication systems, including the design and manufacture of terminals and base stations and the development of software to drive the systems.
KeTech’s integrated portfolio of products, systems and services now provides a stronger and more versatile organisation, delivering greatly enhanced services and capabilities to diverse market sectors.

KeTech Offices
KeTech have offices in London, Bedford, Nottingham, Preston, Bristol and Reading.
From our London Operations Centre, we provide a range of support and maintenance services to Transport for London, London Underground and Tubelines.
Business Development and project management is centred at our offices in Preston while KeTech Defence and KeTech Detection are based in Nottingham which is also the centre for systems design and manufacturing. Software product development is carried out at Nottingham and Preston.
Group management is run from our Head Office in Bedford. 2As’ is based in Bristol, with Key Radio Systems and KeTech Ditra sharing offices in Aldermaston.
